i'm in a time and place of in betweens right now.

been to places, seen many things, done things.
i've had my share of laughter and joy; of tragedies, sorrow, pain and tears

i'm looking at a future that's still pretty vague
so i lazily live by the day
looking to be inspired and be impassioned at any moment

Last Easter Sunday, I decided to attend mass again at the EDSA Shrine. I usually just commute going there via bus from P. Tuazon - EDSA, to Ortigas Ave -EDSA, where I get off at the bus stop along EDSA across the Galleria main entrance. The last time I did that was the first Sunday of March. So it was a big surprise to find all the usual pedestrian lanes barred, and there is now a network of steel overpass structures within the ortigas-edsa intersection.

It was kinda irritating to find myself trapped in between the "cages set-up by MMDA trying to find my way to a set of stairs going up the overpass network. Pero okay lang, sige, disiplina tayo at tumawid sa tamang tawiran.

The overpass network was constructed below the ortigas-edsa flyover and the MRT line. So, you'll find a number of signs like in the picture. You know why? the overpass lanes built directly below the flyover and the MRT had short vertical clearances! I stand 5'2" on my feet, but i wore my comfy 4-inch heeled wedge shoes that day, and i still had to duck as the sign said, for fear of bumping my head on the flyover.

I'm wondering if there's an engineering sense to this that BF and his MMDA had to follow such that they constructed an overpass that has the potential to hurt the pedestrians? Why intentionally build them so close to the existing structures at all?!

maybre there is a logical explanation, i really, really hope so.

meantime, ang galing talaga ng MMDA... duh.

how else can i explain this surreal feeling of being at peace?

i wonder, those dreamless sleeps i've had the past week. were you by any chance visiting me? the five of us? for some reason, we've all had dreamless sleeps and it's only the past few days that we've begun to realize that we have dreams again.

or maybe the shock just hasn't worn off. yesterday, i began to remember again that horrible moning last march 18. but i shouldn't dwell on that.

i woke up today and realized that i will no longer wake up to your morning greetings

you won't ask me anymore if i want to eat breakfast though you know i never do, but you still asked anyway in case i changed my mind that day.

i hate it that you left me so suddenly when we promised to still do many things together. you were supposed to still come home.

i'm just being selfish, as you know so well. I gladly take this pain because it means that you'll never have to suffer again.

For the hugs that we'll never share again, i'll just make do with the pillows you made for me.

So i asked Ryan, how do guys know if women likes them? Is it really that obvious?

He said yeah, it's the little things that give them away. Like when a guy sits beside a girl, and she stiffens from a slouch; or she moves a millimeter closer; or the coffee cup, little by little, moves nearer the guy's.

Another very obvious tell-tale sign, is when the women enters a room and greets everyone but him. Being more distant than before... he said it has something to do with the defense mechanisms being erected for fear of "spilling" over the other, and at the risk of a broken heart.

Then he said, sino ba kasi yan? Just tell him what you feel! Baby, you've already lived half of your lifetime, and the gravity pull is much stronger now! so don't waste the time and tell the guy!

huh! not on your life! been there, done that, got burned, and swore neve to do tht agin!

anyways, i just wondered, and if i have a crush, i'll just have fun keeping it in my mind...
